Frequently asked questions.
How do I control the hero?
Hold the screen to gain height and release to descend. Cabbages refill your gas. Coins gathered during a run can unlock characters.
Can I play offline?
Runs work offline. Game Center, new purchases and restoring purchases require an internet connection. Previously verified upgrades remain available offline.
My best run is missing from the leaderboard.
Check your connection and your Game Center sign-in in the device settings. The game keeps eligible scores to retry later. The local record and leaderboard are separate records.
I changed devices or lost my progress.
Coins, heroes, visual effects and settings are saved on your device. Game Center stores scores and does not back up your inventory. Contact us before reinstalling if you need help.
Why is there no sound?
Check your device volume and silent mode. Music and effects have separate controls in Settings. Close and reopen the game if the problem persists.
Does the game have ads or purchases?
The Fart Hero has no ads. Optional permanent upgrades are available through the App Store. Check product details and prices in the game before confirming.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use the restore purchases option in the game’s upgrade store, with an internet connection and the same Apple Account used to buy the items. This restores purchased upgrades, not coins or heroes earned during runs. For help, include the game version, item and approximate time of the issue; do not send passwords or card details.

If support requests a run report, you can use the game’s Black Box export and choose to share it. Sending is manual; review the file before attaching it.
Purchases and refunds.
Optional purchases are processed by the App Store. If a purchase is awaiting approval, wait for Apple or your guardian to decide. For refunds, follow the official process; eligibility is determined by Apple.
Privacy and data.
